Out of interest, we started designing our own FTA tool.
Over the years, it evolved into a fairly complete tool which we use on our projects, but also make available to those interested.
The qFTA tool is completely integrated in MS-Excel and allows easy integration of raw input data and results in other excel based analyses.
The ease and convenience of excel integration, combined with the power of a true FTA function set.
The current version is 1.10, and has a wide featurelist:
- all well known gate and event types
- automatic tree layouting
- failure models with CCF
- minimal cut set analysis
- minimal path set analysis (succes analysis)
- sentivity analysis
- time dependant analysis (eg. hidden failures)
